PARPG has ceased development. Last words can be read and spoken in “the end” thread.

There are two things left for us to do:

  1. Upload all concept and 3d art to OpenGameArt.org.
  2. Move on to other projects.

There are also two projects that stem from PARPG:

  • fife-rpg, a rewrite of PARPG so it can be used to easily create other RPGs.
  • PPARPG, a Panda3D implementation of the PARPG idea.

While it’s certainly sad to see such a project come to the end without reaching the goal, we can be grateful about the experiences and the lessons that have occured from this endeavour. Best wishes to the former contributors of PARPG and may you all enjoy your time developing other projects.

Ah, and there’s still Arikel’s PPARPG – a game in setting pretty similar to PARPG, and Beliar’s fife module he’s working on.
